BIRTH DOULA SUPPORT
Birth Doula Support Plan:
A complimentary initial meeting to discuss your needs and to see if we are a good fit.
(about 1 hour)
Two in-home prenatal visits (each lasting approximately 90min) discussing:
-birth wishes/preferences
-care provider collaboration
-the labor & birth process
-comfort measures/birth partner involvement
-positions for labor & birth
-newborn & postpartum care plans
Continuous phone & email support through your pregnancy
(<24 hour response time)
'on-call' support from 37 weeks until baby's birth
Continuous support once active labor begins
Immediate postpartum care & assistance establishing feeding
(remaining 1-2 hours after baby's arrival)
One postpartum follow-up visit discussing:
-nursing support/feeding options
-assessing birthing person's nutrition/
meal planning/sleep/mood
-postpartum transition
Phone & email support through your
fourth trimester
(<24 hour response time)
Investment: $1800
(a deposit of $900 is due upon hiring, and the remaining balance is due by 37 weeks of pregnancy)

POSTPARTUM DOULA SUPPORT
What does a Postpartum Doula Do?
A postpartum doula helps a parent feel comfortable and confident in caring for their newborn by understanding and validating their intuitive abilities.
Care may include:
Offering encouragement,
non-judgmental support, and
education
Ensuring adequate sleep,
nutrition, and hydration during recovery
Assisting with newborn care and family adjustments
Light housekeeping and meal preparation
Offering tips for infant care and feeding, as well as infant feeding support
Relaxation and soothing techniques for babes, coping skills for parents, and suggesting appropriate referrals
A caring companion during physical and emotional recovery, supporting the family as a whole
--Rates--
Daytime (Monday-Friday) 7am-7pm: $40/hour
Evenings (Monday-Friday) 7pm-7am: $50/hour
Weekend (Friday 7pm-Monday 7am): $50/hour
